Family is one of the most important things in life.  Whether it is a child, a parent, spouse, sibling or a friend who is like family to you, family relationships touch us all in the most profound ways.  Portraits preserve the memories of these special people in a tangible way.  I cherish the wedding portrait of my grandmother that was made over ninety years ago.  I enjoy looking at the baby portraits of my children every day.  This is largely why I entered into the profession of capturing memories for others.  

I have had a lifelong interest in photography, beginning with the photography club in high school.  After a circuitous route through the fields of chemistry and public health, I returned to my passion.  The spark was reignited after having three children, who often found themselves at the other end of my lens.  I pursued formal training at the New England School of Photography.  Portraits of family and friends followed and Eventide Photography became a reality.  

Why the name Eventide?  It is the intersection of the Golden Hour and the Blue Hour - one of the most beautiful times of day.  A time when family and friends gather together to share a meal, to share news of their day and enjoy each other's company.

I constantly seek new ways to capture the essence of the individual and take a special pleasure in capturing the unique relationships that bind us together at all stages of life.  I look forward to creating a wonderful portrait experience for you.
