The Great Escape

Oh the things we do to our children!  We tell them not to talk to strangers, then we put them on the lap of a uniquely attired stranger covered in white hair and expect them to smile!  I have to admit that my favorite picture of my children with Santa was when my middle guy was almost two and he was absolutely howling!  We can laugh about it now :).

This little guy wanted nothing to do with Mr. And Mrs. Claus.  After struggling to get away, he simply broke down and in the process broke our hearts.  He was quickly mollified with a candy cane and his Mom by his side.  His little brother remained nonplussed throughout.

Mr and Mrs Claus were champs - warmly welcoming children, young and old, throughout the day.  Definitely put me in the Christmas spirit!
